Welcome Teri Fischer
All Saints Catholic School
Principal Minister

Please join me in welcoming Teri Fischer, our new Principal Minister, to All Saints Catholic School. Teri, a native of Toledo, has been an educator since 1997 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri. She taught fifth grade in the Columbia Public Schools in Missouri before moving back to Toledo in 2002 with her husband, Jeff, and their three sons. Teri taught first and fifth grade at Our Lady of Lourdes School, and most recently was the sixth grade home room teacher and Language Arts teacher in St. Benedict’s Middle School.
Throughout her educational career Teri has served as a teacher mentor and has been a member of the school’s public relations and accreditation teams at St. Benedict. Teri was also the Power of the Pen Coach at St. Benedict, and helped lead her students to the State level for the past three years.
Teri is a graduate of Blessed Sacrament School and Central Catholic High School. She and Jeff have been married for 32 years and are active members of the Historic Church of St. Patrick. Jeff is employed at First Solar in Perrysburg Township as a Quality Manager. Their oldest son, Scott, lives in Ontario, CA, and served in the Air Force. Their middle son, Sam, is majoring in education at Adrian College, where he is a member of the college baseball team. Youngest son Matt is a freshman at the University of Toledo and is studying nursing.
The Fischers are devoted baseball fans and divide their support between the St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers. Teri is an avid baker and enjoys designing cakes and other confections for customers and family.
“I am really looking forward to getting to know the staff, students, and families at All Saints,” says Teri. “I feel extremely blessed for the opportunity to be part of your faith community and to help All Saints to be the best that it can be.”
A special thank you goes out to the Principal Minister search and selection committee who worked diligently and professionally to help find the best candidate to lead our school. Members of the selection committee brought a variety of professional experience to the process and included:
  • Katie Sliwinski, Human Resources Generalist from the Diocese of Toledo
  • Marty Hartman, Catholic Schools Office Consultant for Grade Schools and Former Principal
  • Sue Bruning, All Saints School Advisory President and School Parent
  • Michele Mikonowicz, All Saints Catholic School Teacher and School Parent
  • Charlene Vidra, All Saints Bookkeeper
  • and myself, Fr. Kent Kaufman, Pastor and Superintendent of All Saints Catholic School
Please give Teri a warm, All Saints welcome as she begins her position as Principal Minister. I think you will find her extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and committed to the families, students, and the future of Catholic education. If you would like to get in touch with Teri, you may reach her at tfischer@allsaintscatholic.org or 419.661.2070.
