Congratulations to our 8th grade teacher Mrs. Michele Mikonowicz who has been selected as a recipient of the 2014 Golden Apple Award! Michele and 8 other awardees from all over the 19 county diocese represent over 1500 Catholic School teachers! Teachers were selected as educators who base their ministry on the Catholic School Educator "Credo," professional accomplishments, leadership, and service to the church, school and community. We are so blessed to have her as our 8th grade teacher!
Three reasons our students are happy!
(and parents, too)
- Technology and real world learning is immersed in all classes using the national Common Core Curriculum.
- We expect…and get…the personal best from our students. Advanced classes, challenging assignments, and tomorrow’s technology make our students leaders, critical thinkers, and problem solvers.
- Learning has no boundaries. From using iPads to create movies about DNA, to toasting s’mores in handmade solar ovens on the blacktop, to calculating a mine blast at a local quarry, it’s true global learning that happens every day.
